From Lab to Fab: Leveraging Pilot Lines for Industrial Growth
Exploring how pilot lines can accelerate innovation, strengthen industrial competitiveness, and bridge the gap between research and commercial manufacturing.
AI and the Great Semiconductor Divide: Strengthening Europe’s Competitiveness
The semiconductor industry remains one of the world’s most strategic and rapidly evolving sectors. Its global supply chain is highly complex, with certain regions developing concentrated expertise and strategic specialisations across the value chain. Malta, with its long-standing commitment to the sector, has positioned itself as a key European hub for semiconductor innovation, knowledge, and operational excellence. The country excels particularly in backend processes, including advanced packaging, while recent developments in emerging niches continue to expand Malta’s footprint in the global semiconductor ecosystem.
Building on the success of previous years, we are proud to announce the third edition of the Global Semiconductor Conference Malta (GSCM), taking place on 16th and 17th November 2026, exploring the critical intersection of artificial intelligence, technology leadership, and Europe’s strategic role in the semiconductor race.
The event will convene leading industry executives, analysts, innovators, startups, policymakers, and venture capitalists to engage in high-level discussions on the challenges, opportunities, and strategies shaping the future of the semiconductor sector. Attendees will gain insights into how AI is transforming the industry, how Europe can bridge technological gaps, and how collaboration across the semiconductor value chain can bolster competitiveness on the global stage.
